In the cloud.

We store the original uploaded image in a data center in Tuusula Finland.
This image is converted into a DICOM formatted image, if needed, and also stored in Tuusula.
The DICOM image is then uploaded into Google's data center in Sydney Australia.
Australia is used because it is geographically close to the majority of customers, so myPACS is fast.
Tuusula was chosen because it is naturally cold, a long way from Sydney and powered by 100% renewable electricity, making it a very ecologically friendly place to run servers.
